THE APPROACH
For individual, team, and organizational coaching or consulting, Anthony begins with an assessment to understand the context and help clients clearly articulate the current state of their integrity, courage, and wholeness. For individuals, this exploration focuses on personal and/or professional development, while for teams or organizations, it centers on relational dynamics and culture.
Following the assessment, Anthony collaborates with the client to define the parameters and needs of the partnership, resulting in a personalized development plan for individuals, teams, or organizations.
Drawing on principles from the Circles of Trust approach, Anthony creates space for clients to engage deeply with themselves and each other.
In workshops, Anthony facilitates seminars that include lectures, and large and small group discussions, guiding participants inward and fostering the free exchange of ideas while honing leadership skills and techniques.
PRESIDENT, LEAD CONSULTANT
An ordained Baptist minister, educator, social entrepreneur, and advocate, Anthony is the President and lead Consultant of Integrity & Heart Consulting, specializing in leadership development for individuals, teams, and organizations. With over a decade of experience, he has guided professionals and organizations in their journey toward discovering fullness and wholeness across all areas of life.
Drawing on the Circles of Trust® approach advanced by Parker Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, Anthony cultivates a shared culture of integrity, exploration, accountability, and trust with his clients and program participants. He works with teams and leaders at all levels of an organization, including executive leadership, helping them explore both the inner and outer dimensions of their professional lives. His goal is to enhance his clients' ability to “lead from within” while making informed decisions and fostering a courageous organizational culture.
Anthony is committed to nurturing the sustainability and wholeness of individuals, teams, and organizations, ensuring their inner life promotes external work that is authentic, effective, and radically transformative.
Anthony holds degrees from American Baptist College (B.A.), Vanderbilt University (M.Div. with a certificate in Black Church Studies), and Yale University (M.A.R., Ethics). He works at the intersections of race, class, ethics, religion, and culture, and his philosophy centers on the belief that individuals, teams, and organizations possess the wisdom, gifts, and resources they need to address the challenges they face—rather than relying on external "expert" opinions. For Anthony, the inward journey is key to unlocking these resources.
A trained facilitator through the Center for Courage and Renewal, Anthony has received several awards and fellowships from the Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE), Auburn Theological Seminary, the Beatitudes Society, and DoGoodX. He is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoys leisure reading, traveling both domestically and internationally, fine dining, and spending time on Zoom with his two nieces or godchildren. He also enjoys taking long nature walks along trails.
